Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash In Shelton

Upon arrival, a motorcycle was found on its side with a "semiconscious driver on the ground," fire officials said.

SHELTON, CT — At 11:40 p.m. Friday, fire crews responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Kneen Street, fire officials said.

Upon arrival, a motorcycle was found on its side with a semiconscious driver on the ground, fire officials said.

Members assisted EMS with patient packing and Echo Hose Ambulance transported the operator to a location trauma facility for treatment, officials said. The operator of the car was not injured.

Car 1, Squad 1 and Engine 42 with approximately 8 members operated under the command of Assistant Fire Chief Plavcan, officials said.
