SHELTON, CT — A Panera Bread restaurant is scheduled to re-open Monday in Shelton, according to the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce.

In an email to Patch, chamber president Bill Purcell said the restaurant chain's location on Bridgeport Avenue closed last year in anticipation of re-opening down the street at the new Fountain Square commercial complex.

According to Purcell, Panera Bread's previous location had strong business at their former location, and the addition of a drive-thru at the new Fountain Square location should be a huge benefit.
