Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?

No one in my family works for any government or political group.

Previous public office, appointive or elective:

I was appointed to the position of City Treasurer in July 2025 and am currently serving.

Why are you seeking this office?

I want to contribute to my town, and help keep Derby running efficiently, with respect for and transparency regarding our city's funds.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:

Financial stability for the city; I intend to work with the administration to continue the hard work they have done to get Derby from deficit to a balanced budget.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have over 20 years of prior financial services experience, having worked at Fortune 500 companies such as Wells Fargo and MassMutual. I previously held my National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Series 6, 7 and 65 licenses, which meant I was authorized to work with securities and to act as a registered investment advisor. Of my 12 years working in municipal government, 5 years were spent as the Treasury Analyst for the City of New Haven. I also earned my MBA while working full time.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I intend to keep financial stability and general economic development in mind as we continue to work to maintain balanced budgets for Derby.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I earned each of my National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Series licenses on my first try at the tests, all while working full-time. I believe I have the knowledge base to handle the tasks for this position, and have been handling this job since July 2025.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a dedicated, hard-working person who wants to do what I can to help ensure our community has what it needs now and into the future. I want Derby to build on its 350 years of history and move forward with financial stability.
