Why are you seeking this office?

Derby has seen much controversy in the last few years regarding our finances and the handling of our monies. I would like to straighten that out.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:

Too high taxes. To help lower those taxes I want to clarify what assets and liabilities the City has.

I am more fiscally conservative and unwilling to accept the status quo with our financial outlook.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I want to make sure we have the proper checks and balances in place for our financial transactions.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I've worked in finance for most of my life from a computer programmer's perspective, then as the head of the Derby Tax Board, and finally as the treasurer for multiple municipal and state elections.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Stay on top of things.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a solid choice for treasurer and I'm eager to get to work.
