To effect change within our social systems with Derby residents in the forefront of our decision and processes that would allow our communities to thrive.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Taxes…Analyze, research, and collaborate with all departments and committees to rectify any budget concerns.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Our team, will work with all Derby residents, whether one party or another, as every resident should have equitable opportunities without discrimination regardless of race, gender, religion, creed, or color. Opportunities for growth in all aspects of our macro structure of government.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Collaborating with other committees to support our overall mission and goals toward building a sustainable and thriving society so all citizens can persevere.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Very firm and neutral toward collaborative efforts with common sense in the Board of Taxation and Apportionment in which taxes were not raised. However, lack of transparency and collaborative efforts from the prior administration led to corrective actions by the current administration to prevent state agencies from taking over our finances.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Patience is a virtue and hurry up and wait.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am a retired social worker that has many years of experience toward helping people within their social environment. My career of advocating for our fellow human beings has allowed me to set aside differences for the betterment of all human kind, from birth to death and beyond by understanding people where they are at, not the way the government want them to be.
