Shelton police are asking for the public's help identifying a person suspected of using a stolen credit card at a nearby Target store.

SHELTON, CT — Shelton police are asking for the public's help identifying a person suspected of using a stolen credit card at a nearby Target earlier this month.
In a Facebook post Friday, police said a woman parked her vehicle at the reservoir walking trail on Shelton Avenue on Dec. 6.
While on the trail, the woman received notifications on her phone about unauthorized credit card purchases at a Target store in Ansonia, according to police.

When she returned to her vehicle, the woman discovered two credit cards had been removed from her wallet, police said.
The suspect, whose image was captured using one of the stolen credit cards at Target in Ansonia, is currently being sought by the Shelton Police Department.
