John Giardini, 90, of Shelton: He was a Fairfield resident for most of his life before moving to Derby where he resided for 22 years.

Lois L. Sorrentino, 74, of Derby: She later worked for the City of Bridgeport Department of Aging and then went on to the Bridgeport Board of Education as a cafeteria manager with over 15 years of dedicated service before her retirement.

Theresa M. Miklus, 83, of Shelton: Theresa had worked as an inventory analyst for Philips Medical Systems before her retirement with nearly 20 years of dedicated service. She was an avid sports enthusiast and huge fan and supporter of the New York Yankees.

William R. Allen, 82, of Shelton: Bill was an Air Force officer and then a longtime civilian engineer for the Air Force, taking on a variety of projects from crash investigation to stealth planes to an airborne laser.
