SHELTON, CT — A rise in burglaries has been reported in Shelton, and police urge residents to remain vigilant.

In a Facebook post Friday night, police said they have "seen a rise in burglaries" in the area of Shelton.

In light of this, police asked residents to "be vigilant" and take the following precautions:
