How did you come up with the name?

Family name and evolved over the year to group to indicate the comprehensive services we offer.

Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
Great town to do business in. Stand alone building with plenty of space for our growth.

Briefly, what business are you in?
Property/Casualty insurance, Health and Life Insurance, Accounting and Tax Preparation Services and Financial advisory services for individuals, families and businesses.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
Upsets in the economy such as tech bubble in 2000, 9/11 financial crisis and the extended recession/slow growth local economy.

Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
Never.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
Moving to Shelton in 2002 from much smaller space in Trumbull.

What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?
Paperless operations.

How do you deal with difficult customers?
Try our best to understand their problems from their point of view and empathize with the situation looking for the best possible solution, seems to calm even the most difficult customers.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
Primarily through the Dimatteo Family Charitable Foundation which raises over 30k year and donates it to local worthy organizations in the Shelton area. All of this is displayed on our website.
