Shelton Church Builds 'Little Free Pantry' Blessing Box: Report
The outdoor box provides free food for those in need.
SHELTON, CT — St. Paul's Episcopal Church on the Huntington Green in Shelton recently erected a Blessing Box that offers free food to those who need it, reported the Shelton Herald.
The box, which is perched on a pole and has a glass front, is one of more than 50 Little Free Pantry sites throughout the state, mostly at other churches.
Non-perishable foods are inside the box, which carries the Little Free Pantry motto, "Take what you need, give what you can."
