Sonny Nicholas Mitchell, 41, of Murray Street, Ansonia, is charged with offering home repair without a license and failing to provide notice of cancellation.
Police said Murray offered driveway sealing services. A resident called police and Mitchell was arrested by warrant at Meriden Superior Court.
His bond was set at $5,000 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
