SHELTON, CT — Another Shelton police officer who was fired in 2020 in connection to an investigation into photos posted to Facebook of officers changing outside can return to work nearly four years later following a ruling by a state arbitration panel, the Shelton Herald reports.

According to the Shelton Herald, the state Board of Mediation and Arbitration ruled on June 11 that Officer Roger Falcone, one of six officers fired in a six-week period in 2020, should not have been terminated. Falcone's attorney told the paper his client plans to return to the department.

Caroline Moretti, a Shelton police officer who was also fired in 2020 in connection to the same investigation, was also allowed to return to work this year following a court ruling back in April.
