
Shelton police identified a Stratford man as the driver in hit-and-run Oct. 6, after he left his wallet in his truck.
Michael Vena, 26, is charged with evading.
Police said he hit another vehicle at Coram Avenue and Hill Street and fled. His truck was later spotted on Prospect Avenue in Shelton where officers found his wallet on the seat, police said.
The occupant of the other car had minor injuries, police said.
Vena turned himself on Oct. 7, police said.
His bond and court date were not immediately available.
