William Daniel Varese, 34, of Beacon Falls, is charged with use of drug paraphernalia.
Police said his car was stopped at 2:15 a.m. on Oct. 27 at Bridgeport Avenue and Long Hill Cross. Officers found small baggies and syringes in the car, police said.
His bond was set at $1,000 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
