Arron Q. Gagner, 20, of Fox Hunt Road, Shelton, is charged with failure to drive right and DUI.
Police said Gagner hit a pole on Longfellow Road on Nov. 29.
Gagner's bond was set at $500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
