Carl Lynell Lawson, 34, of Wake Street, Bridgeport, is charged with two counts of criminal violation a protective order.
Police said he had been banned from a Shelton residence, but returned there.
Lawson's bonds totalled $20,000 for appearances in Derby Superior Court.
