Shelton Cops: Police Dog Helps Nab 2

Recent arrests by Shelton Police.

An East Haven man was arrested in a Maple Street home where he was not allowed to be, police said.

Pasquale Gero Raffone, 48, is charged with violation of a protective order and interfering with an officer.

Police said he was hiding in the basement March 19 and Police Dog Jaeger got him to come out. Officer Chris Nugent is his handler.

His bond was set at $5,000.

In the second incident, Joshua D. Stanley, 34, of Wallingford, was arrested March 18 on Louise Drive near Laurel Heights Road.

He's charged with evading responsibility, failure to drive right and driving without a license.

Police said Stanley was involved in a motor vehicle accident and fled. Jaeger also helped track him down.
