Police: Woman Falsely Reported Wallet Stolen
Shelton police say the 40-year-old woman filed the false report in the presence of a minor.
A Bridgeport woman faces three charges after Shelton police said she falsely claimed her wallet had been stolen.
Colleen Kelley, 40, of Glenwood Avenue, is charged with criminal attempt, second-degree falsely reporting an incident and risk of injury to a minor.

Police said she made the claim in Walmart in September 2012 in the presence of a minor. No bond was set in her case.
She was arrested at 2:30 p.m. March 15 on a warrant, for a court appearance scheduled for March 27.
