Chantell Emmanese Bidone, 24, of Derby Avenue, Seymour, is charged with leaving a child unsupervised in a motor vehicle.
Police said the state Department of Children and Families reported that Bidone left the child on July 30, 2012, while she attended classes at Lincoln Tech on Progressive Drive.
She was released on a written promise to appear in Derby Superior Court.
