Katherine Anne Hiestand, 19, of Gregory Street, Bridgeport, is charged with interfering with an officer and fifth-degree larceny.
Police said Hiestand took the phone, valued at $499, in January. Police located it using GPS, but Hiestand allegedly denied taking it.
Her bond was set at $1,500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
