Shelton Dems Announce Slate

Alderman John "Jack" Finn will vie for his 15th term on the Shelton Board of Aldermen. He is the lone democrat on that board.

Shelton Democrats revealed their slate Wednesday night at the Shelton Community Center, including a possible 15th term for an alderman.

John "Jack" Finn of White Hills is bidding to keep his seat. He is the only democrat in the Board of Aldermen.

Shelton DTC Chairman David Gioiello, after announcing his mayoral campaign, praised the slate.

"I think we have put together an outstanding slate of candidates with lots of experience," he said.

The candidates are:

Mayor: David Gioiello

Treasurer:
Bob Lally

Board of Alderman:

  • 1st Ward: John "Jack" Finn (Going for 15th term)
  • 2nd Ward: Ralph Matto, Michelle Bialek
  • 3rd Ward: Chris Jones, Judson Crawford
  • 4th Ward: Polly Dyer
Planning and Zoning Commission: Nancy Dickal, Jimmy Tickey; Alternate: Frank Osak

Board of Apportionment and Taxation: Lou D'Agostine, Joe Knapik and Jay Zikaras

Board of Education: Faith Hack, Kate Kutash, Arlene Liscinsky, Elaine Matto and Tim Walsh

Library Board: Denise Deeds
