Shelton-Derby Area Residents Part of 'Jesus Christ Superstar'

Join the Spotlight Stage Company for a breathtaking journey through the last days of Jesus Christ, told through powerful music and captivating performances.

Shelton resident Fiona Bryson has been working with the talented cast as the music director. Bryson has been seen as music director at productions at the Center Stage Theatre in Shelton.

Matt Johnson of Shelton will play the role of Jesus in the sung-through rock opera. The actor has a magnificent rock tenor singing voice that makes him the perfect choice for the role.

Cora Welsh, another Shelton resident, has been cast in the role of Mary and will sing "I Don't Know How to Love Him."

Shelton residents Julie Hoff, Amanda Magurne, and Jeanie D. Tuzzio are members of the important ensemble.

Spotlight Stage Company invites you to join them in October for the company's next production at their new home in Seymour, CT. The sung-through rock musical JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR features over 30 Connecticut artist working together to bring this production to life. Naugatuck resident Shannon-Courtney Denihan directs.
