SHELTON, CT — Signs have gone up for a new donut shop at a small shopping center in Shelton, replacing another donut shop that recently closed.

Signs advertising a donut, bagel and coffee shop called Glaze | Grind could be seen over the weekend on a building at 785 River Road, replacing previous signage for a Donut Crazy store that suddenly closed at the location earlier this year.

One sign posted to the door of the store noted the new donut shop was "coming soon," however it did not specify an opening date.

Once open, the new donut shop will occupy space at a shopping center that also houses JD's Wines & Spirits and Dave's Gourmet Paletas.

Signage for Donut Crazy could still be seen on the large sign listing each business at the shopping center, as well as on a smaller sign for the store's drive thru.
