Tuesday, June 14: Car Show Cruise Night, Support Boy Scouts, Summer Volleyball Camp

Here's what's happening around town today...

  1. What happened to the heat wave? The National Weather Service predicts rain for today: Scattered showers, mainly before 5 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 62. North wind between 8 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. At night, expect isolated showers before 11 p.m., mostly cloudy skies with a low around 51.
  2. will be held today and every Tuesday from 6 - 9 p.m. at 704 Bridgeport Ave. (The Center At Split Rock). The night cruise will feature classic, custom and muscle cars up until 1980 and is a weather-permitting event. This is a great event for the whole family. Food, music, giveaways, and more.
