Happy hump day! There's a lot happening in Shelton, check out a few of those things

- Valley Regional Adult Education is offering online adult enrichment classes. Take a class from the comfort of your own home, office or local coffee shop. Instructor-facilitated online courses are informative, fun, convenient, and highly interactive. A new session of each course begins on the third Wednesday of each month. Most of the courses cost $99. - Spend tonight enjoying FREE Evenings of Great Music on the Huntington Green. As part of the Parks & Recreation "" summer event, a different band plays from 7 - 9 p.m. each Wednesday. Tonight features "Highland Rovers," an Irish rock band.
- There will be three municipal meetings at tonight: The Trails Committee will meet at 5 p.m. in room 303, the Conservation Commission will meet at 7 p.m. in room 303, and Board of Aldermen's Public Health and Safety Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in room 104.
- Happy Birthday to Shelton native Lauren Ann Dicenzo, who turns 23 today! Lauren is a special education teacher in Seymour. She shares a birthday with football player Tom Brady, domestic diva Martha Stewart and Metallica frontman James Hetfield.
