Where To See Santa In Shelton This Christmas Season

SHELTON, CT — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Shelton families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

This holiday season, kids have several chances to see Santa Claus in and around Shelton:

• Night of Lights Merry Christmas Hayride (Shelton): select nights through Dec. 23
• Holiday Tree Lighting (Trumbull): Dec. 1
• Pictures With Santa at JCPenney (Trumbull): throughout December
• Photos with Santa at Connecticut Post Mall (Milford): Nov. 17 - Dec. 24
• Meet Santa Claus at Stew Leonard's (Norwalk, Danbury): throughout December

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Connecticut, Macy's has locations in Stamford, Trumbull, Danbury, Milford, Manchester and Farmington.

Santa was also scheduled to appear at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores on Black Friday, which was Nov. 24 this year. In Connecticut, Nordstrom has locations in Farmington and Norwalk.

JC Penney stores, including stores in Trumbull, Danbury, Waterbury, Manchester, Farmington and Waterford, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
