DERBY, CT — An area resident is $17,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket at a Derby business, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On Wednesday, an Ansonia resident purchased a winning "Sparkling 7s" ticket at N S Smoke Junction in Derby and won $17,777, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
