Woman Drowns In Family Pool In Shelton: Reports

SHELTON, CT — A 68-year-old woman, who lived outside the country and who was visiting family in Shelton, drowned in a pool Sunday afternoon, according to media reports including NBC CT.

The incident occurred at a residence on Huntington Street, around 4:15 p.m. The identity of the woman who died has not yet been released.

A relative found the woman "unresponsive" in the pool, and she was taken to a local hospital where she died, Hearst Connecticut reported.
