Central School to Celebrate 'Artists in Residence'

Come join Central Elementary School as we celebrate “Artists in Residence” during the week of April 10-13.  Each grade level will enjoy an artist daily through the efforts of the Related Arts teachers.  We would like to invite the community to come join us.  Below is a list of the artists who will be joining us.

Dean Eades- Mr. Eades will be working with our 5^th grade students. His presentations will be centered on the dulcimers.  Instructions will be given and then the students will have hands-on opportunities.  A parent class is being offered on Tuesday, April 10 at 11:15am.  Please join Mr. Eades and learn to play this instrument in the music room.

Lou and Tish Fain- Lou & Tish of Fains’ Dance Studio will be working with our 4^th grade students.  The students will learn a variety of dances including line dancing and our state dance-the Shag.   A Parent class will held on Friday, April 13 in the gym.

Kargols- The 3^rd grades will be creating totem poles with the assistance of Mr. & Mrs. Kargol, parents of 4 Central students.  Parent class will held on Thursday, April 12 at 11:00 in the art room.
