Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation-Emek Shalom is excitedly hosting a Shabbat service for all New/Prospective members to come and meet our congregation.
The service will take place on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 6:00pm at Stratton Brook Park, 149 Farms Village Rd., Simsbury.
We will have a service led by our own Rabbi Howard Herman and Cantor Mark Perman (who we are happy to say is finishing his first year here.) We ask each family to provide their own picnic dinner, and we will serve ice cream for dessert. The event is free, and gives anyone not familiar with our Temple to come and meet our clergy and other congregants.
