Last Call to Get Your Name Engraved on "Simsbury Bikes!" Sculpture

Donations of $100 or more will be collected through Saturday for anyone who would like their name engraved on a plaque that will be placed next to the "Simsbury Bikes!" sculpture, which was dedicated earlier this month.

According to Project Manager Ann Marie Potter, more than $10,000 has been raised in less than five months for sculpture-related costs, and several local businesesses have donated in-kind services.

"I'm delighted to report that we've achieved our financial goal," Potter said.  "I've also seen an amazing collaboration throughout Simsbury. So many people have stepped up to to support this effort."

"We are both a bike-friendly community and a town that comes together for a meaningful cause."

The "Simsbury Bikes!" sculpture is located at the corner of Hopmeadow Street and Winslow Place, in front of the Weatogue Commuter Lot.
