Squadron Line Students to Perform Twinderella

Submitted release

Simsbury’s Squadron Line Elementary School’s 6th Grade After-School Drama Club will be performing “Twinderella” on Tuesday March 27th at 7:00 pm in the school auditorium.  Twinderella is a fun new twist to the story of Cinderella. The story line involves a baseball loving guy named Bob, his evil and cruel step families, along with a godmother AND a godfather and some lively music.

Twinderella, written by Charlie Lovett, was adapted for Squadron Line by volunteer director Kathy Knapp.  Directing the production with Kathy are volunteer parents Susan Salina and Cathy Sullivan, along with Squadron Line’s music teacher Mimi Schreiber.

The 6th grade after school Drama Club is sponsored by the school’s PTO and supported by many parent volunteers coordinated by Darlene Kassa and Susan Murphy.  Over 55 students have been working since December on all facets of the production to include singing, acting, dancing and stage crew.
