Curtiss Park is town owned land and should not have any permanent structures.

Curtis Field is in a floodplain, limiting the addition of buildings and other permanent structures.

All permanent structures would have to be approved by DEEP.

All additional usage should have Gathering Permits, including evaluation from the Chief of Police.

There should be no alcohol, cannabis and vaping allowed on the property.

The projected increase in usage and activities appears to be a takeover of public land and should be rejected.

The Soccer Club should remain a pay to play activity as it has been for years without numerous additional experiences.

There should be a mechanism in place for scholarships for players from low-income families.

The Town should have at most a three-year contract for evaluation.

The rent should be increased as there are administrative costs to the Town.

The property should remain with grass.

The use of synthetic turf fields should not be allowed.

Studies have shown that synthetic turf fields create significant environmental issues.

Synthetic turf fields cause increased injuries and health issues from extreme heat from the turf.

There should be concern about noise pollution as there are families living close to Curtiss Field.

Curtiss Park is a Town owned facility paid for with tax money and should be protected as an open grass field for present and future uses.
