4. Simsbury Public Library will show 'Despicable Me' free at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1. Popcorn and Movie are free of charge. 

5. Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation‐Emek Shalom (FVJC) will host a New & Prospective Member Ice Cream Social at Stratton Brook Park at 6 p.m. on Aug. 2. See details here.
