Lace Up Your Skates For This Simsbury Holiday Celebration

SIMSBURY, CT — Lace up your skates next week for a very special holiday celebration in Simsbury that aims to do good in the community as well.

The Simsbury Culture, Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Simsbury Youth Service Bureau, is hosting "Skate & Share" on Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Simsbury Farms Rink, 100 Old Farms Road.

Those who bring a food donation for the Simsbury food bank will gain free admission to skate on the ice.

In addition, there will be free cookies and hot cocoa, and Santa Claus himself will be on hand for a story courtesy of the Simsbury Public Library.
