Flooded Simsbury Roads Still Closed Wednesday AM
Two days after a serious rain/wind storm, multiple Simsbury roads are still closed.

SIMSBURY, CT — Two days out from a nasty wind/rain storm and the impacts are still being felt in Simsbury Wednesday morning.
According to the state Department of Transportation and the Simsbury Police Department, Route 315 is closed between Route 10/202 and Quarry Road due to flooding from the Farmington River.
The river is swollen from several inches of rain that fell in the area Sunday into Monday, Dec. 17-18.

The DOT announced the closure at 6:01 a.m. Wednesday and it is "unknown" when the road will reopen.
Meanwhile, the SPD updated the community via social media on Simsbury's road closure situation following the storm.

In addition to Route 315, police said the following closures are in place:
• Terry’s Plain Road from Route 315 to Goodrich Road.
• Nod Road from Route 185 to Ridgebury Road.
• Sugarloaf Cut between West Mountain Road and Westledge Road.
