SIMSBURY, CT — A resident's trip to a gas station resulted in a life-changing Lotto payout that, at least, ensures the affordability of groceries and gas for a while.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the Simsbury resident won $1 million playing the Powerball lottery game on Thursday, Oct. 23.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Pride gas station, located at 518 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury.
