SIMSBURY, CT — The federal government shutdown has impacted a Simsbury program hosted by the office of U.S. Rep. Jahana Hayes, D-5th District.

Until the end of the Federal government shutdown, staff from Hayes' office will be unable to meet with Farmington Valley residents at their regular "Casework on Your Corner" events.

Hayes' program was unveiled earlier this year to help constituents resolve their problems or questions regarding federal agencies and programs.
