Letter to the Editor: John Hampton for State Representative

I'm writing to explain why I am voting for Mr. John Hampton of Simsbury, for election as State Representative.  It's not because we are members of the same political party, as we are not.  Instead it's because I've witnessed first hand the kind of person John is.

The qualities John has exhibited are the ones I truly want for a person representing me.  They include his willingness to always listen to and help every person, he represents.  I've witnessed this first hand in his current position as the Deputy First Selectman for Simsbury,  as he's helped both myself and other handicapped residents.  Similarly I've witnessed how he's worked to help seniors, including his efforts on tax relief for that town population.

I hope you vote for John Hampton, as I am, as your State Representative.  He's shown through his work at the town level, how much he will now help his constituents at the state level.
