Obituary: Garrett James Reynolds, 41, of Simsbury
He was a graduate of East Carolina University, a U.S. Navy veteran and volunteer for multiple charitable organizations.
Garrett James Reynolds, formally James Garrett Price, 41, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and Simsbury, Conn., passed away suddenly at his home on Jan. 21, 2023.
He was born on June 21, 1981 to Lisa Pratt Johnson and Allen Ray Price.
He was a graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School and East Carolina University. He served his country in the United States Navy and continued a life of service well after, volunteering for many charitable organizations.

He married John Michael Reynolds of Simsbury, Connecticut on February 27, 2010. They were married for ten years.
A kind and generous person, Garrett had countless friends and extended family for whom he would do anything.

His untimely passing has left many heartbroken, but all who knew him are left with happy memories and the sincere joy that he touched so many lives in his time here.
A celebration of Garrett’s life will be held at Avon Congregational Church, 6 W. Main St., Avon, CT 06001 on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Garrett’s memory to Gifts of Love, 34 E. Main St., Avon, CT. or to Hannah’s Place, PO Box 1392, Roanoke Rapids, N.C. 27870.
