Private Simsbury School Dismissing Early Tuesday

SIMSBURY, CT — One private school in Simsbury is dismissing students early Tuesday due to the weather.

The Master's School, located at 36 Westledge Road, West Simsbury,announced via its website that pupils will leave early due to the expected weather situation Tuesday.

Following last weekend's heavy snowfall, the precipitation is now changing over to heavy rain with flooding a distinct possibility in the state.

The Master's School, a private K-12 preparatory school, said all afterschool activities such as sports or clubs are canceled Tuesday as is aftercare or extended day care.
