Roads Targeted For New Pavement Announced In Simsbury

The Town of Simsbury this week released a list of local roadways that will be repaved this construction season.

SIMSBURY, CT — With a budget for 2025-26 approved last week, the Town of Simsbury this week notified residents of a finalized road reconstruction schedule.

According to the town, 17 different local roadways are being targeted for new pavement and construction.

The work, officials said, will be for the 2025 construction season, and it is dependent on weather and "other factors impacting our paving work," wrote town officials.

Those living on impacted streets will be sent a letter from the town warning them of work and what they need to do.

Roads tentatively slated for work this year, according to the town, are: Crane Place; Oakhurst Road; Evans Road; Oxford Court; Firetown Road/Old Farms to Laurel Lane; Paine Road' Hemlock Lane; Seminary Road; Hickory Hill Road; Terrys Plain Road — 315 to Quarry; Ichabod Road; Terrys Plain Road - Quarry to Riverside; Main Street; Woodcliff; Merrywood; Woodhaven Drive; Oak Glenn Court; and Wooster Road.
