Shred Unwanted Documents At Simsbury Paper-Shredding Event
The free community event is being hosted by a Simsbury retirement/assisted living facility on Saturday, April 5.
SIMSBURY, CT — A local assisted living community is helping the public finish up their spring cleaning this week by hosting a community paper-shredding event this Saturday.
On Saturday, April 5, the McLean Life Plan Community, 75 Great Pond Road, Simsbury, is inviting folks to come by with their boxes of waste paper and discard them for free.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, according to McLean.

Folks can bring up to four bags of paper, and Meyer Shredding Services will take care of the rest.
Items available for shredding include papers, confidential documents, folders, medical charts, etc.

Items not accepted are paper/Styrofoam cups, newspapers/magazines, food packaging, plastics, and cardboard, among other items.
