Simsbury Community Band and Organizing for Disaster

Today is Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Here are some activities in Simsbury. 

1. At 7 p.m, the Simsbury Community Band entertains at Simsbury Meadows. The free concerts will last 1 to 1 1/2 hours, and attendees should bring comfortable seating.

2. Eric Thompson, Principal of Blue Back, LLC appears on CT Valley Views with host Susan Regan. It can be seen on Simsbury Community TV Comcast Channel 5  and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, Wednesday July 24 and 31 at 4:00 and Friday July 26 at 3:30 PM. See more here. 

3. At noon, The Farmington Valley VNA offers free blood pressure screenings at Eno Memorial Hall. See more in this announcement. 

4. Regina Sanchez presents Organizing for Disaster at Simsbury Public Library. The 7 p.m. program is to help residents and business owners prepare for natural disasters. Registration requested at (860) 658-7663.

5. The Clean Energy Task Force meets at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. See agenda here.
