Simsbury Eyes Status As A Bicycling Community

The town is asking residents to do an online survey on bicycling as it tries to become a bicycle-friendly town.

SIMSBURY, CT — Town officials want Simsbury to be known as a place where folks feel just comfortable riding their bikes as they are driving their cars.

That's why it is applying for "Bicycle Friendly Community" status with the nationally-based League of American Bicyclists.

To be considered a "Bicycle Friendly Community," municipality must complete a series of tasks to garner the status.
