Simsbury Resident Elected to Board of Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS)

Simsbury resident Jackie Kosiba has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS) – the State’s official meetings and sports event sales and marketing organization.

“We are pleased to welcome Jackie Kosiba to our Board,” explains Robert Murdock, President of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS). “Her expertise in the hospitality industry –particularly in luxury boutique hotels – will be invaluable as expand our work to generate business and funds for the State and the regions where the events take place.”

Jackie Kosiba is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Delamar Hotel Collection where she leads strategic initiatives across the portfolio of luxury boutique hotels in Connecticut comprising of Greenwich Harbor, Southport, West Hartford, Mystic, and Westport, as well as in Traverse City, Mich. With more than 13 years at Delamar, she has had the opportunity to grow with the brand, holding leadership roles at both the property and regional level, contributing to successful hotel openings, brand positioning, and market expansion.

Kosiba is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and driving results through collaboration, creativity, and strategic thinking. She serves on the Board of Accelerate, Women Leaders in Travel, a network that provides professional development, knowledge, and relationship building. She has served as Secretary of the Board of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and started its Fairfield Emerging Leaders Organization (FELO), a young professionals’ group that offers unique opportunities for networking, education, social connection, and community service. Kosiba holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration & marketing from the University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. She lives in Simsbury, Conn. with her husband, Rich, and two daughters.
