Simsbury Road Reopens, No Traffic Light Though: SPD
An accident brought down utility lines.

SIMSBURY, CT — A state roadway in Simsbury was closed Sunday morning after a single-vehicle crash, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has reopened, albeit with a non-functioning traffic light.
The DOT reports that Route 167 was closed between Fernwood Road and Old Meadow Plain Road due to a vehicle crashing into a utility pole, bringing down wires.
It was first reported at 1:39 a.m. and it was closed for much of the day, reopening only later in the afternoon.

Simsbury police, though, said stop signs have gone up there as the traffic light doesn't work there.

Rt 167 has been reopened, but the intersection with Climax Road does not have a working traffic light. Please recognize the temporary stop signs until the light is fixed.
