Simsbury Road Closed After Tree Takes Down Utility Lines: DOT

SIMSBURY, CT — Sunday/Monday's wind and rain storm is causing havoc on local roadways, with one Simsbury road shut down due to a tree taking down utility lines.

According to the state Department of Transportation, Route 185 at Route 10/202 intersection is closed with a tree taking down both wires and a utility pole.

The incident was first reported at 6:52 a.m. and it is "unknown" when it will be cleared.
