Terry’s Plain Road from Route 315 to Goodrich Road was closed earlier this morning, but the Simsbury PD later announced it has, since, reopened.
The storm Sunday into Monday dumped several inches of rain in Connecticut, resulting in elevated water levels along major rivers and streams.
Those rising waters in Simsbury have pushed water over the roads, which police warn should not be traversed by vehicles.
Terry’s Plain Road is open.
