Simsbury Roads Still Flooded As New Storm Approaches
Simsbury police Friday said multiple spots in town are still closed to traffic due to the rainstorm earlier in the week.
SIMSBURY, CT — With more heavy rain expected tonight, Simsbury continues to cope with the effects of the heavy rainstorm earlier this week.
The Simsbury Police Department Friday morning said one road that has been closed has reopened, but other roads remain underwater due to flooding.
According to the Simsbury PD, Riverside Road from Drake Hill Road to East Weatogue Street has been reopened.

Police said the following roads are still closed due to flooding:
• Riverside Road North (from Drake Hill Road to Terry’s Plain Road ).

• Tariffville Road (Route 315) from Quarry Road to the Farmington River bridge west of Terry’s Plain Road).
• Terry’s Plain Road from Route 315 to Goodrich Road.
• Nod Road from Hartford Road (Route 185) to Ridgebury Road.
